Mike oversees all operations of the service department at EMCOR Services New York/New Jersey’s New York office location. As a service manager, he is responsible for the field scheduling of mechanics and all service contract renewals. He supervises the daily activity of his personnel and monitors customer inquiries to assure the highest level of customer satisfaction is met. He also supervises the field staff to assure compliance of EMCOR’s safety policy. Mike works with the CFO to review any billing discrepancies and to ensure that all financial goals are communicated to his staff and achieved. A key responsibility for Mike is to continuously build and flourish relationships with existing and potential customers.

Expertise

Mike has 25 years of experience in the mechanical service industry. He began his career in 1989 at Carrier Building Services as a service coordinator and two years later, excelled to the position of a service supervisor. Mike’s ten-year tenure with Carrier allowed him to gain the hands-on experience and knowledge needed to create and sustain key relationships while successfully managing service agreements. Mike spent the next seven years holding the positions of a service administrator, service assistant manager, and service manager at various mechanical contractors. Prior to joining the EMCOR Services New York/New Jersey team, Mike had rejoined Carrier and had spent five years as a service supervisor for Nassau County. His ability to uphold a company’s values and objectives, adapt to rapidly changing environments, and interact with a diverse range of management level personalities, proves him to be an ideal service manager for the New York office.

Mike attended St. John’s University in New York to receive his Bachelor of Arts in Business Management. He also attended Queensboro Community College to receive his Associate of Applied Science in Marketing.

Personal Side

Mike is married and has two step children, Nick and Allie. He enjoys shooting pool, watching old Hollywood movies, and reading biographies and history on Ireland, WWII, and the Civil War.
