John Semiz Director, Project Operations

John manages and oversees project operations. He is responsible for all construction services including estimating, planning, customer satisfaction, quality assurance and timely completion of projects. John works closely with EMCOR Services' engineering group during the design phases of many projects. His construction expertise is quite valuable in ensuring that projects are designed in a cost-efficient and time-efficient manner.

 

Commercial & Industrial Construction Services Expertise

He has more than 30 years of commercial and industrial construction experience, much of it in pharmaceutical and food manufacturing, as well as research and development. John has developed a tremendous skill in completing construction projects in these environments with minimal disruption to ongoing business activities.

 

He received a bachelor's of science in civil engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in 1974. He has completed numerous industry related training courses, particularly in the area of construction safety. John holds several certifications, including one for confined space entry.

 

Prior to joining EMCOR Services in 1984, John was employed by a large, New Jersey-based mechanical contractor, who specialized in industrial and hospital projects. During his tenure there, John managed a team of project coordinators, draftsmen and field personnel. This allowed him to gain skills he continues to use at Trimech to manage large projects, requiring full-time, on-site presence.

 

John is EMCOR Services' representative to the New Jersey Mechanical Contractor's Association.
