Backed by nearly 30 years of commercial HVAC service experience, Mike helps the firm's field mechanical and HVAC technicians deliver consistently timely, responsive and effective service on every call, no matter how complex the underlying technical issues may be. Whether he diagnoses facilities mechanical problems by phone or goes on site, his extensive heating, ventilation, and air conditioning expertise enables him to resolve difficult service issues, monitor quality and in some cases, directly manage specific projects. In addition, he helps clients address today's challenging energy issues by overseeing the commissioning, maintaining and servicing of cogeneration and trigeneration microturbine generators. And he participates in training and evaluating new hires, as well as new business development. By drawing on his vast HVAC maintenance knowledge and advanced skills, he plays a significant role in helping EMCOR maintain its reputation for world-class customer service and end-to-end value.

 

Commercial HVAC & Refrigeration Service Expertise

Mike's commercial heating and cooling maintenance expertise encompasses a wide range of mechanical systems and components. These include air conditioners, centrifugal circulating pumps, chillers, computer room systems, fluid and dry cooler systems, gas and oil-fired boilers and heating systems, refrigeration systems, semi-hermatic and air-reciprocating compressors, and water towers, as well as automated controls and PC-based energy management systems.

 

Mike started his career as an HVAC and service technician at Gotham Air Conditioning Corporation (now EMCOR Services New York/New Jersey). After four years as an HVAC and refrigeration technician at A.C.S. Corporation, he returned to Gotham as a service technician, becoming field service supervisor in 1999, and most recently being appointed to Director of Service Operations in 2007.

 

Mike holds an associate degree in air conditioning, heating and refrigeration from Middlesex County Technical College and a C.F.C. universal refrigerant certification. He has also completed the course of study at Lincoln Technical School along with technical training courses from such leading manufacturers as Carrier, Copeland, Liebert, Manitowac, National Compressor, Trane and Weill McLain.

 

The Personal Side

Mike is married, and enjoys deep-sea fishing and motorcross riding.
