Indoor Air Quality / One Lincoln Plaza , New York, NY
For this project, we helped with the design and implementation of a UV-C lighting system that would help eliminate up to 99 percent of the coronavirus strain that causes COVID-19, and 90 percent of the influenza virus. An added benefit was that this system also disinfects the coils, which helps to reduce maintenance costs and improve equipment efficiency.
The building owner was looking to minimize as much risk as possible to their returning tenants during the COVID-19 pandemic. Their primary goal was to improve indoor air quality.
We configured a system to help achieve the client’s indoor air quality goals. We then provided all the required trade work for a turnkey installation. A total of nine air handlers were retrofitted with UV-C lighting along with all the required safety measures and compliance controls.
